ReStore Committee to Host Pre-Opening Sale
The Dubuque and Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity ReStore Committee is holding a three-day sale in advance of our ReStore opening. Find gently used furniture, cabinets, and more at a fraction of the retail price. Community members are invited to shop the Pre-Sale located at 4949 Chavenelle Rd, Suite 3, in Dubuque on the following dates and times:
Thursday – Saturday
May 26th: 12-6 pm
May 27th: 12-6 pm
May 28th: 10-4 pm
The ReStore Committee, under the guidance of Rachel Daack, began work to bring a ReStore to Dubuque in 2019. Since then, Rachel and the committee have coordinated hundreds of volunteers logging thousands of hours to help bring this unique reuse store to our community. Habitat ReStores sell donated furniture, appliances, fixtures, and building materials. Habitat plans to open the ReStore later this year. Sales from items donated to the ReStore will help us partner with individuals and families to affordably build, rehabilitate, and repair homes in our community. Proceeds from the pre-opening sale will help us open the ReStore sooner!
Due to limited space, donated materials or merchandise will not be accepted before or during the sale.
