Habitat offers opportunities for people of all abilities and skills to come together and take action to address housing needs in the community. build with us
We use volunteers for the majority of construction work in our homes. The Building Committee and Construction Manager provide expert guidance and supervision on-site. If this is your first time lifting a hammer, or if you are a seasoned pro, we have opportunities to get involved on builds in Dubuque and Jackson County.

Habitat ReStores are home improvement stores and donation centers selling a variety of high-quality furniture, appliances, building materials, fixtures, tools, and more. Volunteers help receive, process, test, and sell donated items. The sales from donated items help fund Habitats mission to build more homes in Dubuque and Jackson Counties. merry millwork market

Kick off the holiday season with the Merry Millwork Market! We welcome volunteers to help with horse and carriage rides, setup and teardown, and beverage sales (must be over 21). The Market is a fun and festive way to kick off the giving season.
