Kait Nelson brings a fresh perspective to Dubuque and Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity. Nelson has a strong background in bookkeeping and Residential and Commercial appraisal management that has helped to sustain the program operations of the affiliate. With a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, she provides invaluable assistance with both grant writing and office communications.
“I consider it a privilege to say that I truly enjoy my work. Habitat for Humanity not only aligns with my own belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live, but this organization has 49 years of bringing communities together to act and realize their vision of a better world,” Nelson says as she describes her fervor for Habitat’s vision.
