Which Pickup Option Do I Need?

Does your donation require any of the following?

Entering your home
Carrying donations on steps
Removing items from inside your home
Disassembling furniture, cabinets, or other items
Moving items from one location to another

If you answered YES to any of these questions, you MUST choose an Express Donation Pickup.

If you answered NO to all of these questions, you may be eligible for a ReStore Donation Pickup.

ReStore Donation Pickup

Our team can pick up qualifying donations that are ready to go.

The ReStore team can pick up large or bulky donations when they are outside the home or in an accessible garage and ready for our staff to safely load.

ReStore Pickup Requirements

Your donation must include at least three items too large to fit in a car.

For the safety of our staff and to help us keep pickups efficient:

All approved items must be outside the home or in an accessible garage
Items must be ready for our staff to load
Items must be accessible without entering the home or navigating stairs
We do not disassemble, move, or dismantle items
The donor or an authorized person must be present when our truck arrives

ReStore Pickup Fee

$24 pickup fee + $5.95 scheduling fee

The $24 pickup fee helps offset the cost of the truck, staff, and fuel.

Our online scheduling software charges the $5.95 fee.

Have usable items you no longer need? Your donations keep valuable materials out of the landfill and directly support Habitat’s mission.

We gladly accept donations of new and gently used home improvement items, furniture, and building materials. Donations are tax‑deductible, and you can schedule pickup with our team or through a third-party service.

What merchandise do we accept?

Review our Donation Guide for a list of accepted donations.

Our team will pick up only items that meet our Donation Guide and pickup requirements. For safety reasons, staff may decline an item if it is unsafe to move, excessively heavy, damaged, or otherwise not suitable for ReStore.

Please do not place items outside until they are weather-protected and ready for pickup.

The donor or an authorized person must be present at the scheduled pickup.

Express Donation Pickup

When you need a little more help

Our Express Donation Pickup is an option for donations that require services our ReStore team cannot provide.

Choose Express Pickup if your donation requires our pickup provider to:

Enter your home
Access a basement, attic, or upper level
Remove items from inside your home
Disassemble items
Move items within your home or property
Move furniture or other belongings to access the donation

Express Pickup is a third-party service from a standard Habitat ReStore donation pickup. Fees begin at $149 and service requirements may vary. Call 941-202-2354.
