We Need Your Expertise
Dubuque and Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity utilizes volunteers for the majority of construction work completed on our homes.
In addition, there are a few types of services that regular volunteers are not able to perform including:
- Excavation
- Sewer and water installation
- Concrete
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Electrical work.
Occasionally, we also need help with lead & asbestos abatement, roofing and drywall finishing.
While such work is paid through fundraising efforts, any work donated by experts is appreciated.
Any company or individual willing to partner with Dubuque and Jackson Counties Habitat must be licensed, insured, and committed to completing the entire project. Use the button below to sign up for bids and service notifications.
Donate Materials
Habitat for Humanity has ongoing in-kind relationships and construction standards for all Habitat homes. This means we are not always able to utilize donated items in new home construction. Our team handles these types of donations to determine suitability on-site.
Most donated building materials, fixtures, and furniture can be directed to the Dubuque and Jackson County Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Please review the ReStore Donation Guide and schedule your donation online or visit the ReStore website for more information.
